Northwest Health has one regional hospital in Siloam Springs, two medical centers in Springdale and Bentonville, and while it will become a part of Mayo organization, it still will keep employees, system and patients.

This information was confirmed by Doctor James Tanner yesterday. James Tanner is the head medical officer. He said that this act will help patients of Northwest to join medical care system of the highest in rates hospital for no additional costs.

Patients in Northwest will be able to choose whether they want to receive consultations from Mayo specialists, and local employees will receive access to better libraries and information, share their experience and learn something new.

According to Doctor Tanner it is a unique opportunity for their medical specialists to learn, as Mayo has deeper knowledge in almost all area. He believes that this collaboration will bring a new type of medical clinic.

The news was revealed this Tuesday in front of elected officials and locals that came to Holiday Inn of Springdale.

The head of Mayo Clinic, Doctor David Hayes says that he does not think that Northwest clinic lacks something. The process will take some time, possibly several months, as Mayo and Northwest stuff will have to review safety systems, provide changes in quality.

Hayes assured that Northwest will receive access to knowledge of 40 worldwide members of Mayo company.

Doctor Hayes, who is cardiologist himself, says that clinic will win from the collaboration of professionals. And the most important, patients will be able to receive the best treatment.

Mayo Clinic has thousands of employees. It has departments in Florida, Arizona, etc. In the 2017 year clinic helps to treat 1.5 million people.

Northwest Health recommends itself as rural teaching practice. They assure their patients through official website that their main intention is to give thoughtful medical care for patients.
