The future of urban transport lies in electric scooters sharing

Scooters are quickly spreading across the USA cities and even invade Britain. According to the young generation of riders, they are more fun and does not hurt the environment, unlike cars and motorcycles.

Meanwhile, there is a backlash in the USA.

The whole strategy of electric share scooters is very simple. You need just to download an app, scan barcode from the scooter and you can go. After you reach your destination, you can leave scooter on the nearest pavement where it will be picked by another rider.

The startup was made by executives of Uber. It is called Bird. The first scooters were spread in Santa Monica during last year’s September. In one night there were hundreds of scooters deposited.

There are two new startups appeared, Spin and LimeBike. They have the same rules as Bird. However, in San Francisco, they met huge opposition from people and even city attorney, who called them dangerous. Scooters were thrown into lakes and trash cans there.

City Hall is looking for regulations over scooters.

Scooters owners are working on spreading across the world. They prefer to work in cities which gave special lanes for bikes and it is safer to ride such transport.

Bird Company has 115 million dollars in funding and they are bold in their decisions. Steven Schnell, the vice president of the company, says that the demand for scooters is big. They have 50 new markets across the world in their plans.

According to analysts, scooters are eco-friendly, doesn’t take much space and are perfect city transport.
