Is human extinction possible?

Is human extinction possible?

Why not? We already watch mass extinction of some birds, fish, and animals. Well, we always believed that our own mass extinction can happen from alien intrusion. Scientists say that in reality, we don’t need anyone to tear the earth up. We can do it ourselves.

New study shows another increase in the CO2 level in our atmosphere. Now it stands on 410 ppm number, and it is the highest record in our history.

A team of scientists from California University is very familiar with the current situation. They make a record of the level of CO2 in the atmosphere every new month and publish it. According to their new calculations, this is the first time when CO2 crossed a threshold in 400 ppm.

They made a record of CO2 level on Hawaii Island, Mouna Loa. This place is considered as the one not affected by pollution and has cleaner air. After they received results from April tests, scientists were scared by sudden changes.

If the unpolluted area has shown the rise of the CO2 level, it means that humans left their marks everywhere across the world.

Researchers believe that humans forced climate to change so rapidly, that it can’t be fixed with modern technologies.

We have already crossed the highest mark of pollution set during the previous year. Despite all the programs from government, Paris Climate Agreement, activities of eco groups, the damage was made.

Even now we don’t pay attention to forests, animals. We continue to cut trees which could cut the level of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere.

Carbon dioxide is at its new highest peak, and scientists can’t name any period of human life when there was so much CO2 in our atmosphere.

The leader of Scripps CO2 program at Californian Scripps Oceanography Institution, Ralph Keeling says that this milestone is important to notice as it can be returned. This pace is already set. According to him, it is very possible that in the next 16 years there will be 450 ppm and in 20 years 500 ppm, very dangerous sign for the climate.
