Parental control from Verizon is the best phone nanny
Verizon has recently upgraded its service of parental control. Now it is called Smart Family. It costs 5 dollars per month for 6 members of the family. Subscription is not expensive.
And for this money parents receive the ability to track children activity as much as it is possible and seemed impossible before. They can see location of child, what apps they are using, what are they downloading, etc.
It can even give you full information of call activity and data in children’s phones. From distance parents will be able to block phone on the time of homework or at school.
It is hard to believe, but this app still has several uncontrolled or let’s called it blind areas. Parents will not be able to see 3rd party messaging service activities. It will be hard to spy on children in Snapchat or iMessage, for example. Meanwhile, it is still more controlling and provides more information than parental control service from Wi-Fi at home.
Parents will be able to set content filters for websites and apps. They will be able to control filtered categories. Another bonus for parents who can’t get access to the attention of their kids, is ability to pause phone access to the data any time they will need it.
Tracking location will be the part of Premium subscription, available for 10 dollars per month. With these features parents will be able to track their kids’ locations or send geofenced location alerts. They will receive notifications when kid arrives to friend’s house and arrive back home.
According to the head manager of Verizon, Susie Fernandes they gave parents some security in a digital dangerous world.
