Sprint and T-Mobile are coming closer to signing the deal

According to the new information, T-Mobile, the wireless carrier, and its colleague Sprint Corporation continue their negotiations on the terms of the merger. It is believed that they will complete all negotiations successfully and sign the deal during the next week. The information was revealed by people who are close to both sides.

 

The company which will appear after the merger will have over 127 million devoted customers. It will also be able to compete with Verizon Communication as well as AT&T Inc, which are considered to be the most well-known and best selling players at the market of wireless technologies.

United companies also will be able to significantly expand their offer on 5G, which according to tech analysts it the next most popular wireless technology.

Deutsche Telekom is the owner of main part of T-Mobile considers the agreement with Sprint’s controlling Soft Bank Group from Japan. For now they are trying to decide which will have main control during voting procedure in their company.

According to the source, close to the company, Deutsche Telekom will win even if it will not have a majority. It owns 63 percent of T-Mobile, while SoftBank has 84.7 percent of Sprint Corporation.

Another important question is financial side of the deal. Both owners are trying to decide how much they are ready to pay in debt to help their common plan to work.

Meanwhile, there is no guarantee that the deal will be accepted by both sides. They already have been very close to signing it in November 2017, before SoftBank’s CEO Masayoshi Son refused to do it.
